This Privacy Policy explains how T.&.I. Ipari és Kereskedelmi Korlátolt Felelősségű Társaság (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit www.tanditrade.com and when you contact us. We process personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation, “GDPR”) and Hungarian Act CXII of 2011 on informational self-determination and freedom of information.

2. Visiting our website

When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically records technical information in server log files: your IP address, date and time of access, pages visited, the referring website, and your browser type and operating system.

• Purpose: to deliver the website, ensure its security and detect misuse or attacks.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: log files are deleted automatically after 60 days.

3. Contact form and e-mail enquiries

If you contact us via the contact form or by e-mail, we process the data you provide: your name, e-mail address, company name and the content of your message.

• Purpose: to answer your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare a quotation or contract.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Retention: we delete enquiry data when it is no longer needed, at the latest 5 years after our last contact, unless a business relationship results. Documents relating to contracts and invoicing are kept for 8 years as required by Hungarian accounting law (Act C of 2000, Section 169).

Providing your data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond to your enquiry.

4. Spam protection

To protect our contact form against automated spam, we use a hidden “honeypot” field and simple security checks that run entirely on our own website. No data is sent to third parties for this purpose.

5. Cookies

Our website does not use cookies to track or analyse visitors, and we do not use analytics or advertising tools. Technical cookies are set only for site administrators when they log in to manage the website. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and, where required, ask for your consent.

6. Recipients and processors

We share personal data only where necessary and only with the following service providers, who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:

• Website hosting: Aplus.net, 5063 North Service Road, Suite 102, Burlington, Ontario L7L 5H6, Canada. Aplus.net processes the data on our behalf under its GDPR Data Processing Addendum. Data is stored primarily in Canada; some data may be stored in the USA on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses.
• E-mail and office services: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (Microsoft 365).

Where necessary to handle your enquiry, we may share it with our partner company Salco AG, Seestrasse 72, 8703 Erlenbach, Switzerland.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making or profiling.

7. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Such transfers take place only on the basis of an adequacy decision of the European Commission (for example Canada and Switzerland) or, where no adequacy decision applies, on the basis of the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

• access the personal data we hold about you;
• have inaccurate data corrected;
• have your data erased, or its processing restricted;
• data portability;
• object to processing based on our legitimate interests;
• withdraw your consent at any time, where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. Our website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection.

10. Minors

Our website and services are intended exclusively for businesses in the alcoholic beverage and related industries. We do not knowingly collect personal data from persons under 18 years of age.
